Mindfulness and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction
The first step toward enrollment in the Stress Reduction Program is an Orientation Session –
before the start of classes. These Orientation Session
are free of charge and are required of all participants before beginning the program. During this session you will have the opportunity to:
- Learn about the MBSR Program and explore whether it is right for you
- Meet the teacher
- Experience, first-hand, mindfulness methods and approaches you will be learning during the program
- Confirm your place and perhaps enroll in the program

If you are interested in participating in the 8-week MBSR program or are just curious about what mindfulness is, you are warmly welcome.
Intention with the lecture
During the lecture you will get to know what mindfulness is, the latest research on what happens in the brain, immune system and the body’s aging processes in stress and mindfulness practice. You will also get a first-hand taste of mindfulness.
